1.5 oz of AJ Dollarhide Spirit
0.5 oz Blackberry Simple Syrup*
Splash of Lemon Juice
Club Soda
Basil
Combine first three ingredients in a pint glass, add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a martini glass and finish with a splash of Club. Activate the fresh basil by clapping it in your hands and use as a garnish.
*Blackberry Simple Syrup: Combine 2 cups water, 1 cup simple syrup and 1 cup fresh blackberries. Bring to a boil, reduce and simmer over low heat until thickened.
