Dukkah Crusted Baked Goat Cheese

4 oz. Skyhill Chevre’ wheel, chilled

4 Tbl Dukkah-*view recipe

1 tsp Preserved lemon zest


Black Pepper to taste

Sourdough Discard Flatbread-*view recipe



Preheat oven to 400*F.  Spread the Dukkah spice mixture on a plate and lay one side of the cold Chevre’ cheese face down then on the side edges, pressing gently for even coating. Set this into an oven safe baking dish and bake for 3-4 minutes to warm through but not melt. Garnish the top with fine strips of the preserved lemon yellow zest, fresh ground black pepper to taste and drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

Serve with sourdough flatbread, crackers or crostinis.
