Ingredients

Single Serving

2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
1 oz Bourbon Whiskey
1 oz St. Supéry Cabernet Sauvignon
0.25 oz Simple Syrup (1:1 water/sugar) (can change to between .25 oz and .5 tsp based on personal preference)

1 Liter Batch

14 Dashes Angostura Bitters
6.75 oz Bourbon Whiskey
6.75 oz St. Supéry Cabernet Sauvignon
1.75 oz Simple Syrup (1:1 water/sugar) (can change to between 1.75 oz and 2.5 oz based on personal preference)
18.5 oz Chilled Water (since it won’t be stirred over ice)

Instructions

Single Serving

In a cocktail tin or pint glass, stir all ingredients vigorously (but do not shake) over ice until properly chilled and diluted.

If stirred enough, when completed the drink should include approximately 2.75 oz of water from the melted ice and fill a standard martini glass.

Strain and serve up in a traditional martini glass, garnish with 2 cherries speared a fresh rosemary sprig. As an alternative, this may be served over ice in a standard old fashioned glass – single large ice cube recommended.

1 Liter Batch Instructions

Combine all ingredients into a glass 1-liter container, swirl to mix (do not shake) and refrigerate until cold. Serve up in a traditional martini glass, garnish with 2 cherries speared a fresh rosemary sprig.

As an alternative, this may be served over ice in a standard old fashioned glass – single large ice cube recommended.
